CAMERA JAPAN Surprise Sneak Preview at SieboldHuis / Leiden

'Traveling with Yoshitomo Nara', a documentary on one of Japan's most acclaimed contemporary artists, was shown as a European Premiere in the first official Japanese Center in the Netherlands.
Mr. SAKABE Koji, the director of the film, was present and gave an introduction beforehand and answered questions to a curious audience after the screening.
(Yoshitomo Nara's first solo museum exhibition ever in Europe can currently be viewed at GEM in Den Haag until October 28th.)
After the screening, people had many questions for Mr. SAKABE, the director of 'Traveling with Yoshitomo Nara'.

CAMERA JAPAN <<Low Tech>> Opening Party

The second exhibit during CAMERA JAPAN, a group show called <<Low Tech>>, opened in the beautiful space of gallery Roodkapje on Rotterdam's Witte de Withstraat. At the crowded opening party, we invited ADACHI Tomomi from Japan to give one of his his legendary voice poet performance. After that, YORIO Sayaka gave a painfully beautiful performance.
<<Low Tech>> will be on display until July 15th.
